Location: Espana is located in Southwestern Europe. It also borders France and Portugal. It borders other countries by land such as Andorra, Morocco, and Gibraltar. The total area of Espana is 504,782 km2. 499,542 km2 of this is land and 5,240 km2 is water. Spain Lies between Latitudes 26 degrees and 44 degrees North. The Longitude of the region is between 19 degrees West and 5 degrees East. The Highest point of Spain is Teide (Canary Islands) which are 3,718 m (12,198 ft). The Lowest Point of Espana is the Atlantic Ocean,Mediterranean Sea which is 0 m (0 ft). This is Sea Level.

Climate of Espana:


Espana's Climate is very mixed depending on where you go. There are three main area's of climate:

Mediterranean Climate- Characterized to have warm but dry summers

Semiarid Climate- Located in the southeastern part of the country. The dry season extends beyond the summer here. Inside of the region of Murcia and Ebro's Valley's.

Oceanic Climate- Located in the North quarter. Mostly in the Basque Country, Asuturias, Cantabria and partly in the Galicia Valley's. Winter and Summer temperatures are influenced by the ocean. Has no seasonal drought, unlike the other two climates.
